Sofa visualisation featuring the textile design

Independent Project
This pattern began with a desire to explore bold and deliberate colour combinations. In my design process, I always start with colour. I build the palette first and then consider what kind of form can best support it. With this design, the colour palette became the main visual element, so I wanted to balance it with a simple, timeless shape. This is how the stripe emerged.

Stripes are a classic motif, but here the traditional form is given a contemporary character through a bold and carefully curated colour palette. The project grew out of a desire to create an interior fabric that feels both harmonious and expressive — a pattern that could act as a strong visual focal point while bringing colour and personality into a space.
My goal was to create a textile that could become a distinctive element within a piece of furniture while remaining versatile across different interiors and settings. By combining a familiar, timeless form with an unapologetically bold use of colour, the design balances playfulness with a considered and contemporary feel.
